El Banyo

A great place to start a home language nest is the bathroom (el banyo). It might seem funny to nest in the bathroom, but bathrooms are places where we do well-defined daily activities that you can start learning to do in Ladino. For parents of young children (kriaturas), the bathroom can be an excellent choice for a nest because you can help them take baths, brush their teeth, etc., all in Ladino!
